Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how ShowBill, operated by Omnitech Solutions, LLC (“ShowBill,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information when you use the ShowBill application and related support, notification, email connection, and delivery services.

ShowBill does not sell personal information, serve advertising, or use your information to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.

Data we handle

Business records you create

ShowBill can store company details, clients and contacts, projects and bookings, time entries, rate cards, estimates, invoices, payments, expenses, receipt images, accounting records, and app preferences. These records are stored on your device by default.

Optional iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud Sync, eligible ShowBill records are stored in your private Apple iCloud/CloudKit database and synchronized through your Apple account. Apple’s handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple’s terms and privacy policy.

Account, notification, and delivery data

When you use connected services, we may process an email address, service-specific user or company identifier, app installation or device token, notification preferences, connection status, and product interactions needed to provide those features. This information is linked to your ShowBill workspace or device for app functionality and is not used for tracking.

Email features

Gmail and Google Workspace connection is coming soon. Once available, ShowBill’s authenticated service will handle the authorization credentials and account details needed to send invoice emails through your Google account. When you use Send with ShowBill, we process sender details, verification status, recipient details, message content, and invoice attachments to deliver the email. Replies are directed to the business email you provide.

Support communications

If you contact us, we receive the information you include in your message, such as your email address, device or app details, and the content needed to answer your request.

Device permissions

ShowBill requests access only when a related feature needs it. Depending on the features you use, this may include:

• Calendars to read the calendar you select and recognize bookings and call times.
• Contacts to import client details when you ask.
• Camera and files to scan or attach receipts and documents.
• Location to recognize arrival at configured venues and prepare show timer actions.
• Notifications and Live Activities to provide booking, timer, billing-review, and Lock Screen updates.

You can change these permissions at any time in Apple Settings. Disabling a permission stops the related feature from accessing that resource.

External service providers

We share information only as needed to provide a feature you choose, operate and secure our services, comply with law, or protect rights and safety. Depending on the features you use, the following providers may process information:

• Apple provides App Store distribution, private iCloud and CloudKit synchronization, Apple Maps, push notifications through Apple Push Notification service, and other operating-system services.
• Google (coming soon) will provide Google account authorization and the Gmail API when you connect Gmail or Google Workspace. Once available, Google may process your connected account email and the recipients, message content, and invoice attachment you choose to send.
• Cloudflare hosts ShowBill’s authenticated backend and database services. For the upcoming Google connection, Cloudflare may process encrypted connection credentials. Cloudflare may also process workspace identifiers, device and push-registration information, notification requests, and limited delivery and security records.
• Amazon Web Services provides Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) for Send with ShowBill. Amazon SES processes sender and recipient addresses, message content, invoice attachments, and delivery metadata needed to send and troubleshoot those emails.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies as well as their agreements with us. We limit the information sent to what is reasonably necessary for the selected service. We do not share ShowBill data with advertising networks or data brokers.

Retention, choices, and deletion

On-device business records remain until you delete or reset them, restore a different backup, or remove the app and its data. Records synchronized through iCloud remain subject to your iCloud settings and Apple account controls.

Email connection credentials are retained while the connection is active and are deleted or invalidated when you disconnect the account, subject to limited security and operational records. Notification and email-delivery diagnostics are generally retained for up to 90 days. Other registration and delivery records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, and troubleshoot those services. Support communications may be retained as needed to resolve your request, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

You can revoke device permissions in Apple Settings; disable ShowBill notifications, calendar features, or iCloud Sync; disconnect an email account in ShowBill Settings; and use ShowBill’s reset controls to delete company records. You may also request access to or deletion of backend workspace, notification, email-delivery, or support data by emailing support@showbill.app. We may need to verify the request before acting on it.

Security and children

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. ShowBill is a business productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to ShowBill or applicable requirements. The effective date above will be updated when the policy changes materially.
